Are you detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in accounting support, accounts receivable, or collections? Nova Southeastern University (NSU) is seeking a Recovery Representative – Institutional Loans to join our Financial Aid & Academic Records team!

In this role, you'll help manage outstanding student account balances, support institutional loan repayment activities, and assist students in navigating repayment options. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, solving problems, and providing exceptional customer service.

What You'll Do

• Research and reconcile outstanding student account balances and institutional loans.
• Maintain accurate borrower records and process student payments.
• Communicate with students regarding repayment options and account inquiries.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and federal agencies on loan servicing and collection activities.
• Prepare reports, resolve account discrepancies, and support compliance with federal regulations.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in accounting support, collections, accounts receivable, or a related field.
• Strong numerical accuracy, reconciliation, and data-entry skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• A customer-focused approach and ability to handle confidential information.

Education & Experience: Candidates may qualify through one of the following pathways:

• High school diploma/equivalent and 5+ years of related accounting support experience.
• Associate's degree or 60 college credits and 3 years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree and 1+ year of related experience.
