COMMERCIAL LENDER — Bank of Frankewing, Lawrenceburg TN (rural southern-middle TN / northern AL market). ROLE: Develop, manage, and grow a portfolio of commercial loan AND deposit relationships. Lending mix: owner-occupied commercial real estate, C&I (commercial & industrial), and small-business loans. Relationship-based community-bank lending with active local market involvement. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES proactively generate new business (referrals, prospecting, community involvement) analyze financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, collateral and credit risk to structure loans prepare credit memos and loan presentations per loan policy monitor loan performance, covenant compliance and credit quality conduct annual reviews/renewals and address credit concerns early cross-sell treasury/deposit services work with credit administration ensure regulatory compliance represent the bank in chamber/civic/community groups QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting/Business preferred 3+ years commercial lending or related banking experience preferred strong commercial credit analysis and underwriting conservative, risk-aware judgment knowledge of state/federal banking regulations IDEAL PROFILE SBA 7(a) + commercial lending background STRONGLY preferred — this is the incoming CLO Shay Wood’s own background. Credit-disciplined / conservative lender who strengthens asset quality (bank is under an active FDIC consent order + Fed C&D — they need clean underwriting, NOT a volume producer). WILLING TO EMBRACE CHANGE / drive the new direction — 103-yr community bank, new CEO ~1.5 yrs in, active turnaround. Not a status-quo seat.
