Pipefitter

Snapshot / Role Overview:
We're seeking a Pipefitter in Middlesex, NJ to install HVAC piping systems for commercial construction projects.

Impact:
- Deliver quality installations through expert pipe fitting and fabrication skills
- Support project timelines by working efficiently and coordinating with other trades
- Ensure system integrity through proper fitting, welding, and pressure testing
- Contribute to team success through reliable workmanship and positive attitude

Responsibilities:
- Install piping systems for HVAC applications including chilled water, heating hot water, and refrigerant
- Measure, cut, thread, and groove pipe using hand and power tools
- Fit and assemble piping components including valves, flanges, and fittings
- Read and interpret isometric drawings and piping specifications
- Coordinate with welders on pipe fabrication and installation
- Install pipe hangers and supports per code requirements
- Pressure test piping systems and verify leak-free installations
- Follow safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
