The Senior Commercial Estimator will play a critical role in our commercial projects, working closely with our team to ensure accurate cost estimations and effective project execution. Job Details Responsibilities: 1. Develop comprehensive, detailed project cost estimates for commercial construction projects. 2. Review and interpret construction blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project scope and requirements. 3. Utilize expert blueprint reading skills to assess potential project challenges and devise solutions. 4. Conduct site surveys and worksite evaluations to gather data for cost estimation. 5. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to develop conceptual budgets and detailed cost plans. 6. Prepare and present financial analysis reports to senior management, highlighting key cost factors and potential risks. 7. Utilize knowledge of CSI Divisions to accurately categorize project elements for cost estimation. 8. Monitor project progress, ensuring costs are in line with estimates and identifying any potential financial risks or discrepancies. 9. Work closely with procurement team to negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors. 10. Stay current with the latest industry trends, cost estimating methods, and construction technologies to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. 2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial construction estimating. 3. Proficient in using cost estimation software and tools. 4. Strong knowledge of CSI Divisions, construction methods, materials, and regulations. 5. Exceptional skills in blueprint reading, financial analysis, and budgeting. 6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. 7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. 8. Strong communication and negotiation skills. 9. Proven track record of delivering accurate and timely cost estimates on large-scale commercial construction projects. 10.
