About the Position

Step into a turn-key, sole-provider urology practice with immediate patient volume and a six-week new-patient wait already in place. You'll take over a well-established general urology practice as the only urologist in the market, with the current physician planning ahead for retirement to ensure a smooth transition. This role blends procedural variety, strong compensation, and long-term stability in a community that depends on you.

Practice Overview

• Join a well-established general urology practice as the sole provider in the local market
• Broad surgical scope including ureteroscopy, ESWL, TURBT, UroLift, Rezum and open prostatectomy/nephrectomy
• Advanced technology on hand including Holmium and GreenLight lasers plus urodynamic testing equipment
• Supported by LPN, MA, office manager and a dedicated hospital surgery scheduler

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with four clinic days per week
• Dedicated OR block every Monday, averaging seven surgical cases per block
• Approximately 25 patients per clinic day, one clinic and one hospital campus, no travel between sites

Compensation & Benefits

• $550,000 guaranteed base salary plus wRVU productivity and quality incentives
• Current physician earnings average approximately $650,000 annually
• Generous sign-on bonus and up to $15,000 in relocation assistance
• Full benefits package including 401(k), tail malpractice coverage, 28 days PTO and $3,000 CME allowance

Candidate Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible in Urology
• Eligible for Louisiana medical licensure
• Open to both experienced physicians and new graduates
