Job Description
The Tree Climber and Bucket Operator is responsible for safely performing tree maintenance and removal tasks using climbing techniques and bucket trucks. This role requires precision, strong physical ability, and leadership to manage crew activities efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate bucket trucks to access and work on elevated trees
- Climb trees safely to perform pruning, trimming, and removal
- Lead and coordinate crew activities on job sites
- Maintain and inspect equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Implement safety protocols and monitor crew compliance
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in tree climbing and bucket operation
Preferred Qualifications
- Bucket truck operation expertise
- Advanced tree climbing techniques
- Chainsaw operation skills
- Strong understanding of safety protocols
- Crew leadership experience
- Effective communication skills
- Problem-solving abilities
- Physical fitness suitable for demanding tasks
- First Aid certification
