Registered Nurse – IMC / PCU / Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (3x12 Hours, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to an adult through geriatric population across IMC, PCU, and Medical-Surgical/Telemetry settings
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:4–5 in PCU and 1:5–6 in Medical-Surgical and Medical-Surgical Telemetry units
• Float as required to all Medical-Surgical, Medical-Surgical Telemetry, and PCU units within the facility
• Utilize Epic for electronic health record documentation, Pyxis for medication management, and SBAR for clinical communication
• Work every other weekend (averaging 6 weekends per 13-week contract) and fulfill holiday obligations per assignment schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in Georgia or a Compact state required at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Proficiency with Epic (required), Pyxis, and SBAR communication framework
• Ability to manage all potential Medical-Surgical, Medical-Surgical Telemetry, and PCU diagnoses
• Full compliance with onboarding requirements; all compliance documents must be submitted by the Tuesday prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a stepdown, intermediate care, or telemetry unit setting
• Familiarity with floating across multiple unit types within a hospital system
