Job Title : General Camp Counselor - SEASONAL position
Duration : 7 weeks on site; 1 week of orientation and 6 weeks of camp
Location : Camp Akiba, Stroudsburg PA
Camp Akiba is hiring enthusiastic, compassionate, and dedicated counselors to join our Boys’ Side team for an unforgettable summer experience.

Responsibilities
- Live with, supervise and support campers ages 8–13
- Build strong relationships and encourage campers to make friends
- Assist with hygiene routines, transitions, bunk clean-up, and mealtimes
- Participate in daily camp activities, special events and evening programs
- Be a positive role model in attitude, behavior, spirit and communication
- Collaborate with your co-counselors and staff team to deliver the best experience possible
Qualifications
- Responsible, patient, and emotionally intelligent
- Enthusiastic team player who’s flexible and proactive
- Experience working with kids (as a babysitter, coach, mentor, or in a camp setting) is a plus
