Job Details Position: Respiratory Therapist - Homecare (RRT or CRT) Employment Type: Permanent, On-site Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (40 hrs/week) Coverage Area: Mt. Arlington and surrounding Northern NJ communities Vehicle: Personal vehicle required; mileage reimbursement Required Qualifications Active New Jersey State licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) Minimum 1 year of clinical respiratory therapy experience, preferably in home health, pulmonary care, or ventilator management Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to lift and transport patient equipment (minimum 65 lbs) Proficient with documentation technology and Microsoft Office Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and patient-centered approach Key Responsibilities Perform in-home patient assessments and develop individualized respiratory care plans Provide education on oxygen therapy, airway management, inhaled medications, and home ventilator care Adjust ventilator settings per physician orders and monitor ventilator-dependent patients Troubleshoot and maintain respiratory equipment to ensure safe optimal function Document services, clinical findings, and patient interactions accurately in electronic records Provide phone support, follow-up care, and emergency guidance for home respiratory patients Support training and orientation of new clinical staff and contribute to quality improvement Preferred Skills Experience with home ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, long-term ventilation, and pulmonary rehabilitation Knowledge of home oxygen titration, aerosol therapy, and airway clearance techniques Comfortable delivering clinical respiratory services in a home health setting #J-18808-Ljbffr
