Store Manager

Responsible for managing store operations, staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to ensure effective execution of processes such as ordering, stocking, merchandising, and customer service. Key Duties: Recruit, select, train, and retain qualified employees; ensure proper staffing and conduct performance reviews. Communicate expectations on performance, conduct, and safety; promote a safe store environment. Evaluate business trends through operating statements; manage inventory to meet stock targets and control shrinkage. Oversee merchandise presentation, pricing, and signage; maintain accurate inventory levels and store security. Ensure excellent customer service and maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment. Adhere to company policies, complete documentation, and ensure compliance with labor laws and safety regulations. Qualifications & Skills: Ability to interpret manuals, perform mathematical calculations, and handle cash procedures. Knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, and safety practices. Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Preferred high school diploma and management experience in retail. Bilingual skills may be preferred at some locations. Physical & Work Environment: Frequent walking, standing, bending, and handling merchandise. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly and up to 55 pounds occasionally. Occasional climbing and driving for store operations.
