Job Title: Welder

Job Description

The Welder will be responsible for welding and fabricating aluminum parts for the manufacturing of refrigeration units. This role requires the ability to work from blueprints, assemble, and fabricate units. In addition to performing MIG and TIG welding, the Welder will be responsible for grinding and finishing metal parts prior to their painting and final processing.

Shift and Pay

5:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Thursday

Pay: $25.52/hr

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on aluminum parts.
• Work from blueprints to assemble and fabricate refrigeration units.
• Grind and finish metal parts before painting and final processing.
• Ensure high-quality fabrication and assembly of units.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding on thin gauge aluminum.
• Ability to interpret blueprints.
• Experience in fabrication and mechanical assembly.
• Skills in grinding and finishing metal parts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined.

Work Environment

Work hours are from 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, with Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays off. The facility is clean and climate-controlled, boasting a newly constructed manufacturing space covering 54,000 square feet. The environment features overhead LED lighting, wireless connectivity for real-time access to drawings, and a streamlined production area with new equipment for efficient workflow. The team operates in a collaborative and cross-training environment, with opportunities for additional work on Fridays if needed.

This is a Permanent position based out of York, PA.

The pay range for this position is $25.52 - $25.52/hr.
