SUMMARY DESCRIPTION The Material Handler I is primarily responsible for stockroom duties. This includes but is not limited to receiving and stocking incoming consumables/raw materials, conducting inventory counts and reviewing documentation to maintain up-to-date inventory records and receiving documentation. Material Handler 1 also responsible for assisting in the packaging and shipping of finished devices for outside sterilization services. SUPERVISION RECEIVED Under direct supervision of Manager, Materials Management. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain up-to-date inventory records by performing inventory cycle counts Use ERP system to receive incoming inventory per area SOPs Use ERP system to process and transfer inventory to production per area SOPs Assist in preparing/packaging devices for outside sterilization services per area SOP Complete all area documentation following GDP Scan and file documents Assist with other warehouse related tasks as needed Ability pickup and transport bladders from the abattoir to the facility when necessary(?) Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent Manufacturing/Warehousing experience preferred Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to multi-task Excellent organizational skills Ability to consistently and independently follow policies and procedures Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Working knowledge of GMP and ISO standards preferred Must be punctual PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to lift and move 40+ lbs Must be able to maintain a high level of frequency in physical activity such as reaching, standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, kneeling and crouching ADVERSE WORKING CONDITIONS The adverse working conditions listed in this section include, but are not limited to, those environmental conditions to which the employee may be exposed while undertaking the essential duties and responsibilities of this position, which is that of a general plant environment. Office/manufacturing environment Low to moderate noise Salary Pay Range: $19.19 - $25.43 USD Hourly Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by several factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for bonus, commission, equity or other variable compensation.
