About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med/Surg Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 19:00-07:30 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year in Med Surg License: Required RN License in Tennessee Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Must-Have: Minimum 1 year RN experience in Med Surg Description: Providing quality health care to the community for 60 years. Employs more than 1,000 employees and 300 physicians. Fully accredited by The Joint Commission and governed by a local board of trustees. The facility is a 167-bed healthcare facility with Level III Trauma Center status. Unit information includes 12 beds, with a patient ratio of 6:1. The electronic health record system in use is Meditech. Supervision is provided by the Nursing Director. Patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Preferred experience includes 2+ years in Med Surg. No call requirements are needed for this position. All clinical staff must be checked against the state abuse registry prior to assignment start. Float requirements may necessitate moving to other Med Surg units as needed. Dress code allows for any scrub color, but casual wear is unacceptable. Personality fit should be professional.
