RH is seeking a knowledgeable and service-minded Bartender to deliver a refined beverage experience that reflects the highest standards of hospitality. In this role, you will guide guests through each phase of their beverage journey with exceptional service, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering luxury hospitality while cultivating their expertise in wine, spirits and cocktails within a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.Your ResponsibilitiesCreate a warm and inviting experience by delivering First Class Service that reflects RH's standards of hospitalityPrepare and present cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits with consistent quality, accuracy and attention to detailCreate memorable beverage experiences by guiding guests through RH's beverage offerings with thoughtful recommendations, wine pairings and knowledgeable serviceMaintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar by replenishing and rotating inventory, glassware, garnishes and supplies to support uninterrupted serviceProcess guest payments accurately using the point-of-sale system while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with cash handling proceduresComplete opening and closing responsibilities to ensure the bar is prepared for service and properly secured at the end of each shiftServe as a brand ambassador by engaging warmly with guests, modeling polished personal presentation and demonstrating knowledge of RH's food and beverage offeringsSupport an efficient, guest-focused service environment by anticipating guest and team needs while maintaining an organized, service-ready barPartner with location leadership to manage beverage inventory, monitor product quality, minimize waste and support operational and financial goalsResolve guest concerns with professionalism, urgency and sound judgment while escalating issues appropriatelyFollow all responsible alcohol service guidelines and comply with applicable liquor laws and company policiesOur Requirements3+ years of bartending experience in a high-volume, upscale or luxury hospitality environmentKnowledge of spirits, wine, beer, classic and contemporary cocktails and responsible alcohol service practicesPassion for expanding knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktails, and seasonal beverage offerings through ongoing learning and developmentCommitment to responsible alcohol service practices, food safety and sanitation standards, applicable regulations, and RH policiesLegal authorization to work in the country of application at the time of hireMeets the minimum legal age required to serve alcohol, work designated shifts and perform the full scope of job responsibilities in accordance with local labor and safety regulationsCommitment to high standards of personal appearance, including adherence to uniform guidelines, grooming and hygiene practices to ensure a professional presentation to guestsFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays and variable shifts as business needs requirePhysical RequirementsFrequent stooping, bending, and reaching, both overhead and below bar heightLift or move items up to 50 lbs using appropriate equipment and safe handling techniquesStand and walk for extended periods as part of daily work activitiesSafely ascend and descend stairs, with or without carrying beverages, glassware or service equipmentNavigate busy, low-lit bar and dining environments with attention to safety and controlCommitment to proper safety and sanitation practices in a commercial kitchen environmentAbout UsRH is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against any applicant on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, marital status, age, disability, sexual orientation, military/veteran status, or any other status protected by federal or state law or local ordinance.
