Territory Sales Representative - Industrial Services - Base Salary to 75k/year - Rochester, NY

• Our client is an industrial maintenance and repair services company specializing in solutions that repair and protect steel, concrete, and rubber assets and infrastructure. They are seeking a Territory Sales Representative to develop new business and support existing customers throughout an Upstate New York territory extending from Eastern Buffalo to Syracuse.
• The Territory Sales Representative will work from a home office and travel throughout the assigned territory to industrial and commercial facilities, including manufacturing plants, chemical plants, refineries, power plants, pharmaceutical facilities, fulfillment centers, warehouses, and hospitals. This position focuses on outside sales, territory development, industrial maintenance solutions, and repair and protection applications for functional infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, develop, and service new and existing customers within the industrial, manufacturing, and commercial markets
• Develop new business throughout the assigned territory through outside sales, prospecting, account development, and territory management activities
• Learn and apply knowledge of industrial epoxy products, protective coatings, repair systems, and application procedures
• Work with customers to identify industrial maintenance, facility maintenance, MRO, infrastructure repair, corrosion protection, concrete repair, and asset protection needs
• Provide customers with solutions for emergency maintenance, repair, and industrial service requirements
• Develop and maintain a sales pipeline of prospective and existing customer opportunities
• Manage customer opportunities, sales activity, and pipeline information within the company CRM system
• Report sales opportunities and territory activity to management on a weekly basis
• Coordinate with internal company functions to support customer requirements and sales objectives
• Educate customers on appropriate industrial maintenance, repair, and protective solutions for their applications

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of outside sales experience
• High School diploma required
• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, web-based applications, mobile applications, and CRM or sales management systems
• Ability to work from a home office and travel throughout the assigned Upstate New York territory to customer facilities

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 65k - 75k/year range
• Strong commission plan - Average earnings in the 120k - 150k/year range
