We lead the nation with 138 NCAA championship titles and a legacy of sustained excellence, including multiple Women’s Capital One Cup victories, and have brought home the Learfield Director’s Cup 26 times. We support nearly 900 student-athletes who compete on 36 intercollegiate athletics teams and also support the university’s physical education, recreation and wellness initiatives. Our dedicated staff embody a culture of excellence, embrace our mission of scholar‑athleticism and exemplify a relentless championship spirit. Our actions and staff are guided by the core tenets of the Athletics Department culture, “The DAPER Way,” which are: Embrace Scholar‑Athleticism, Pursue and Revere Excellence, Lead with Courage and Work Cohesively. Are you ready to inspire champions? If yes, then this may be the right opportunity for you! Coordinate the recruitment process, including job postings, interview scheduling, and applicant disposition in partnership with hiring managers and HR staff. Input and update labor schedules for new hires as needed. Serve as a knowledgeable resource for DAPER staff by providing clear guidance on HR policies, procedures, and navigation questions (e.g., “how to” and “where to find” information). Address and resolve routine inquiries and issues; elevate complex matters to the Assistant Director or Director as appropriate. Provide general administrative support to the HR team. Assist the HR team in identifying department needs, recommending changes, and implementing improvements. Maintain standards of strict confidentiality with respect to all HR matters and documentation. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and effectively handle highly sensitive and personal information with sound judgment, tact, and discretion. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with the ability to work cross‑functionally with various departments. Very strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Familiarity with human resource management systems, such as PeopleSoft and time/leave systems.
