Job Title: Sandwich Maker Job Description

This role focuses on the hand assembly of sandwiches, salads, and wraps in a production warehouse environment. You will prepare and package food products for shipment, stock and palletize items, and ensure all workstations remain clean and organized. The position involves working with a variety of meats and requires consistent attention to quality, safety, and hygiene standards.

• Hand-assemble sandwiches, salads, and wraps according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Package all finished food products accurately and securely for shipment.
• Stock prepared products and organize them on pallets for shipment and distribution.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation throughout the shift and perform thorough cleaning of all work areas at the end of the day.
• Work safely and efficiently with all types of meats, following food safety and handling guidelines.
• Support general food production tasks, including food preparation, order picking, and food distribution as needed.
• Follow all production, safety, and hygiene procedures, including guidelines related to attire and personal items.
• Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality in line with strict attendance expectations.

• Minimum 6 months of experience in general hand packaging or production.
• Ability to perform food packaging, food production, and general labor tasks in a warehouse setting.
• Experience with food preparation, including sandwich making and related food prep activities.
• Ability to work with all types of meats in a safe and consistent manner.
• Basic English communication skills sufficient to understand instructions and safety procedures.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift and perform repetitive hand-assembly tasks.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards.
• Reliable attendance and ability to adhere to strict attendance policies.

• Experience in food distribution, order picking, and packaging operations.
• Comfort working in a colder production environment.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain consistent product quality.
• Willingness to comply with attire and accessory guidelines, including avoiding strong fragrances and limiting jewelry.

This position is based in a production warehouse environment where you will stand for the entire shift and perform repetitive food assembly and packaging tasks. The facility operates in a colder temperature range, so you should dress in warm, comfortable layers suitable for a chilled production area. The work involves handling various meats and packaged food products, using standard production and packaging equipment. The environment follows strict hygiene and safety standards, including guidelines around attire and personal items such as limiting jewelry and avoiding strong fragrances, to ensure food safety and product quality.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mankato, MN.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Mankato,MN.
