Clinical Specialist - Bay City/Midland, MI

Abbott seeks a Clinical Specialist for its Cardiac Rhythm Management division in Bay City/Midland, Michigan. This field-based role provides comprehensive technical, clinical, and sales support to physicians and healthcare professionals on cardiac rhythm products, requiring strong cardiology knowledge and engineering capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as clinical interface between medical community and business on CRM products
• Build and maintain credible relationships with customers while demonstrating product expertise
• Respond to field inquiries from physicians, healthcare professionals, and sales staff regarding CRM products
• Develop, lead, and facilitate training sessions and educational programs for healthcare professionals
• Provide backup support to CRM sales representatives and manage multiple assignments simultaneously

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering or related field, or equivalent healthcare experience
• Minimum 3+ years related experience or accredited cardiac training program certification
• Demonstrated knowledge of cardiology, electrophysiology, and cardiac electrophysiology procedures
• Advanced knowledge of cardiac pacing systems and ability to interpret complex clinical problems
• Familiarity with catheterization lab and operating room procedures and protocols
• Strong written and verbal communication with excellent presentation and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and personal computer applications for documentation and presentations

Compensation: $61,300–$122,700 base
