As a SONIC Drive-In restaurant Cook, you will oversee the Appetite Satisfaction Department, which includes operating stations such as Food Production, Grill, Fryer, and other tasks as applicable. Cook responsibilities include: Preparing and cooking food to meet quality standards Food preparation and portioning Cooking on the grill Operating the fry station Dressing items to order Packaging menu items and ensuring product quality and consistency Cleaning tasks including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, dishwashing, wiping counters, and sanitizing food areas Requirements for SONIC Drive-In Restaurant Cooks: Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays Flexibility based on business needs Effective communication skills, basic math, and reading skills Ability to follow directions Willingness to adhere to appearance, uniform, and hygiene standards Knowledge of restaurant or retail operations is a plus, but not required Additional Qualifications: Friendly demeanor and a smile while providing quality service Willingness to cross-train across all stations Motivated team players committed to cleanliness and safety Join us and be part of a groovy, fun, and sensational experience!
