Interviews are anticipated to be conducted within two weeks of closing date.

Due to available budget allocated for this position, the hiring rate will not exceed $17.76 per hour.

This position will perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties necessary.


How does it get done?

* Complete spreadsheets
* Compose correspondence
* Manage databases
* Front Desk Duties-Answering phones, greeting visitors, bag checks


Who are the customers?

* New Mexico Corrections Department (NMCD)


Ideal Candidate

Experience in the following:
* Clerical
* Organizing and maintaining files
* Customer service
* Computer data entry


Minimum Qualification

No prior experience or training required.


Employment Requirements

Must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Driver's License. Employment is subject to a pre-employment background investigation and is conditional pending results.


Working Conditions

Work is performed in an adult prison environment, which includes daily contact with inmates. Willingness to work in a correctional facility, may be required to work odd hours, overtime, holidays, and weekends.
