Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Outpatient Duration: 26 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 3 Years License: State Occupational Therapy License Certifications: AHA BLS, CHT - Certified Hand Therapist, AOTA - Hand/Upper Extremity Certification Must-Have: - Hand Clinic Experience - Adult Outpatient Experience Description: Provide evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation for patients with hand and upper extremity conditions. Assist in the design and fabrication of custom orthoses for post-operative care and acute injuries. Develop and implement individualized therapeutic exercise programs. Utilize modalities such as Ultrasound and TENS for pain management. Conduct assessments and readjust treatment plans based on patient progress. Educate patients and families about injury prevention and home exercise programs. Ensure proper documentation and adherence to patient care protocols. Work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team. Participate in safety and injury prevention strategies. Utilize adaptive equipment and techniques during treatment sessions. Maintain current knowledge of best practices and advancements in hand therapy.
