About the Position

Job Opportunity – Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (Charge Experience Required) – Texas

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Location: Irving, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Weekend shifts (4 weekend shifts per month), 36 guaranteed hours per week, 13-week assignment, 12-bed unit with 2:1 patient ratios

Highlights:

• Active charge experience required and must be willing to function in charge role
• Labor and Delivery unit with circulating C-section responsibilities
• Meditech documentation system
• Staffing support includes 1 unit tech per shift and 1 unit secretary on day shift
• No call requirements
• 13-week assignment with guaranteed hours

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN License ONLY (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
• Minimum 2+ years of Labor and Delivery experience
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring certifications required
• AWHONN certification required
• RNC certification preferred
• Meditech experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated charge nurse experience required
