Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $1,423–$1,475 per week - Guaranteed hours: 35 per week - Contract duration: 13 weeks - Shift: 8-hour day shifts, 08:00–16:30, 5 days per week - Start date: 06/29/2026 - Setting: LTAC rehabilitation in a long-term care environment Responsibilities - Deliver skilled Physical Therapy Assistant services under the supervision of a licensed PT to residents in a long-term care setting. - Implement and progress treatment plans developed by the PT, including therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance activities, and activity tolerance work. - Assist with transfers, ADLs, gait aids, and other functional tasks to promote independence and safety. - Monitor patient responses, document progress notes, and communicate changes to the supervising PT and care team. - Ensure patient safety during sessions, maintain equipment and infection control practices, and adhere to relevant policies and regulations. - Collaborate with the PT, nursing, and therapy teams to coordinate care and optimize outcomes for each resident. Requirements - Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in Maine (or eligible for licensure in the state where practice occurs). - Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment and work a 5-day, 8-hour shift schedule. - Prior LTAC or geriatric rehabilitation experience is preferred. - Ability to work effectively in a busy rehabilitation environment, follow treatment plans, and document outcomes accurately.
