Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 9 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Utah license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - Mountain Division.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Charge experience preferred.

Unit Details: - Mixed med-surg unit. - Typical procedures include Foley insertion and central line dressing changes. - Uses bladder scanner, Welch Allyn vital signs equipment, and vein finder.

Shift & Scheduling: - On-call twice per contract. - 4 weekend shifts per schedule (every other week). - For night shift, weekends are Friday and Saturday nights.

Floating Requirements: - Float to all in-house med-surg units.

10 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
