Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Virginia Physical Therapy license required prior to the start of the assignment.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Home health experience required.
• Ability to perform admissions, recertifications, discharges, evaluations, and routine patient visits in home settings.
• Reliable transportation for patient visits and willingness to be reimbursed for mileage between visits.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the Norfolk, Virginia Beach, and Portsmouth coverage areas.
• Flexible and dependable with strong time-management skills.
• Knowledge of home health documentation and productivity expectations.

Assignment Details

• Shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM.
• Coverage areas include Norfolk, Virginia Beach, and Portsmouth, VA.
• No weekend or on-call requirement.
• Mileage reimbursement provided between first and last patient visits.
