Nursing Assistant and/or Caregivers needed to provide compassionate care for multiple participants in an adult day care group setting.  Experience with dementia and/or intellectual disabilities a plus but not required.  Applications are accepted in person at 4001 Ladson Road, Ladson, SC  29456 Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:00pm.

Responsibilities and Duties:  Responsibilities include (but not limited to) assisting participants directly with activities of daily living such as feeding, mobility assistance, toileting, incontinence care, assistance with individual/group activities, assist the RN with awareness of the participants overall well-being.

Qualifications and Skills:

*  Must be 18 years of age

*  CPR/First Aid (Facility will provide training if needed)

*  Pass a SLED background check

* Ability to read, write, understand and carry our directions

*  Must have the physical ability to perform job-related duties, which may require lifting, standing, bending, transferring, stooping, stretching, walking,, pushing, and pulling

*  Successfully complete any/all required pre-employment tests per policy

*  Be able to handle multiple tasks safely and effectively

*  Be compassionate, dependable, energetic, and a team player

*  Good communication skills including ability to communicate information with empathy

*  Be able to comly with HIPPA and Patient Privacy Act by protecting confidential participant information

*  Be able to follow Company policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment

*  Be able to represent the facility with integrity and adhere to the facilities core values and mission with complete regard for the dignity of each person

Graceful Embrace is a developmental day program that works with intellectual disabilities throughout the day Monday - Friday. Our caregivers assist the clients with personal care needs when needed and assist the clients with doing activities, field trips, water days, etc. We enjoy having fun while we work!
