MD/Head of Real Estate - Real Estate Development & Finance - Mixed-Use with Retail and Multifamily Opportunity Overview Lead Company's real estate development and investment activities, direct transformative projects, source capital, identify new opportunities, manage stakeholders, and build an institutional platform. Role Mandate Serve as Company's internal development authority, oversee consultants, lead public-private partnerships, source capital partners, and establish internal development and investment capabilities. Candidate Profile Category Desired Profile Leadership Profile Platform builder and entrepreneurial executive. Experience 15-25+ years of development/investment leadership. Development Large-scale mixed-use, urban redevelopment, PPP projects. Capital Formation Institutional equity, debt, JV and public financing expertise. Business Building Experience establishing platforms, teams or investment strategies. Fund Formation Fund formation experience desirable. Leadership Style Collaborative, accountable, relationship-oriented. Education Bachelor's required; MBA, MRED, JD or similar preferred. Ideal Candidate Statement The ideal candidate combines development expertise, investment acumen, capital markets knowledge, and business-building capabilities. This leader will guide the Oakland Coliseum complex redevelopment, source new opportunities, attract institutional capital, build strategic partnerships, and establish the foundation for a scalable real estate investment and development platform that may ultimately include dedicated real estate funds.
