Head Service Technician in Fenton

Service Tech position: 75% repairs and maintenance on cardio equipment, 25% moving and installing equipment. Responsibilities Ensure all service calls are documented from start to completion and that service reports are properly completed and submitted in accordance with established procedures. Follow testing procedures accurately. Service and maintain equipment at customer locations in the assigned service area; ensure service calls and repairs are carried out following company policies. Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering quality and courteous support in a timely manner. Communicate information regarding product performance and relay field feedback to the Director of Services. Inspect newly installed equipment on site where necessary. Maintain inventory and parts. Process return parts with proper documentation and use precautionary procedures to safeguard company parts and equipment. Schedule and oversee regular maintenance performed with the contracted service provider. Offer and write up customer preventative maintenance contracts and extended warranty services. Refer customers with questions about new products to the sales team and keep the sales team informed of upcoming purchases or needs customers are planning. Required Qualifications Must have at least 18 months of cardio equipment repair experience. Ability to lift 75 lbs. Must pass a background check to enter schools. Must maintain a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Experience working with vendors. Ability to hold arms overhead. Ability to twist, squat, and lift. Must be able to work independently. Must be able to follow written directions. Furniture moving experience. Experience driving a box truck (plus). $500 sign‑on bonus after a 90‑day probationary period.
