Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic services as required
• Assess and monitor patients' respiratory status
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to formulate treatment plans
• Educate patients and families about respiratory conditions and therapies
• Ensure all respiratory care provided meets the required standards

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the respiratory therapy specialty
• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license from the Georgia Composite Medical Board
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• RRT Certification (NBRC)
