YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIESJob Summary:Coastal Chemical Company is a highly ranked chemicals provider to the oil, gas, refinery, and petrochemical industries. The overall responsibility of a Technical Service Engineer is to provide technical support to the sales team as part of Coastal Chemical’s \"Value Added\" Program (provide superior customer service and product quality to clients). Technical Service Engineers interact daily with clients and the sales team by phone, email, or personal site visits. When not working from a home-based office, 50+ % travel is anticipated to cover the West Texas sales territory. Must reside in West Texas.Job Description:KEY RESPONSIBILTIES IN PROVIDING TECHNICAL VALUE TO CLIENTS AND THE SALES TEAMAssist in surveys and field support during assigned project requests.Provide analytical support and process recommendations for products used in the production group resulting in increased sales on existing and new client accounts.Provide informational training seminars to clients regarding the chemical products sold to them, as well as address technical or operational issues arising from field challengesDevelop recommendations and optimization options for customers and sales team.Research and development of new products to preclude or minimize future client technical and operational issues.
