This internship is designed for college students in Los Angeles who are majoring in Fine Arts or a related visual arts field . No professional experience is required. We are especially interested in students who specialize in painting, digital illustration, anime-inspired art, manga-inspired art, character design, or visual storytelling , but we encourage all Fine Arts students to apply. This is a public-facing creative internship for students who want hands‑on experience supporting art events, recreational art groups, gallery‑style gatherings, and community programming. What You’ll Do Support live painting, drawing, and digital illustration activities during public and private art events. Assist lead artists, instructors, and coordinators during recreational art groups. Help prepare art materials, guest stations, creative prompts, and event layouts. Participate in beginner‑friendly art sessions for guests with different skill levels. Help develop art activity ideas inspired by painting, illustration, anime, manga, character design, color, mood, and storytelling. Observe how public art events are planned, promoted, hosted, and facilitated. Represent The Beverly Hills Private Art Community professionally during events. Who Should Apply This internship is a strong fit for students who are: Currently studying Fine Arts, Studio Art, Illustration, Painting, Drawing, Digital Art, Animation, Design, or a related field. Based in Los Angeles or able to attend in‑person events in the Los Angeles / Beverly Hills area. Interested in gaining real‑world experience outside the classroom. Comfortable working around guests, artists, event coordinators, and community members. Curious about art events, gallery culture, creative communities, and public‑facing art experiences. Reliable, organized, and willing to learn. No previous professional art job is required. Class projects, personal work, sketchbooks, digital art, paintings, and student portfolios are welcome. Preferred Interests We are especially interested in students with an interest in one or more of the following: Painting Anime or manga‑inspired art Portraits or figurative art Concept art Fantasy or surreal art Color theory Visual storytelling Community art events Recreational art groups Art education or workshop facilitation You do not need to specialize in all of these areas.
