Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D), Los Angeles, California, United States. Travel assignment beginning 08/24/2026 for a 13-week contract. Weekly pay ranges from $2,539 to $2,745. Shift: Nights, 12-hour blocks (3x12), totaling 36 hours per week. The role is in a hospital setting with a travel / temporary assignment employment type. Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group in Labor and Delivery according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications as prescribed, manage documentation, and respond to changes in clinical condition.
- Develop, implement, and adjust care plans; perform ongoing assessments; document findings accurately in the patient record.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesia, neonatal staff, and other disciplines to optimize patient outcomes.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; exercise clinical judgment and professional discretion in coordinating care.
- Ensure adherence to unit policies and safety protocols; clock in to the unit as required when assigned to Float Pool duties.

Requirements
- Active California RN license (or eligible) in good standing.
- Labor and Delivery nursing experience; 1 year or more preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work a 3x12 night schedule and participate in a travel assignment.
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital setting and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to clock in to the unit per Float Pool policy and maintain clear unit-based documentation.
