About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified CVOR RN in Portland, Oregon, 97086!

• Start Date: August 17, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days, 3×12-hour (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub for cardiovascular surgeries .
• Assist with CABG, valve replacements, MAZE procedures, aortic aneurysm repairs, heart transplants , and other open-heart procedures.
• Respond to cardiac emergencies and participate in on-call cases.
• Prepare and maintain sterile instruments and equipment.
• Administer blood products and monitor cardiac patients intraoperatively.
• Follow Universal Protocol (Time Out) and specimen handling procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, perfusionists, and the OR team.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (Oregon license required by start date; can be pending at submission).
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR RN experience.
• Travel experience required.
• BLS certification.
• Epic charting experience.
