Electro-Optical Assembler (Day Shift FT & PT)

Electro-Optical Assembler (Full-Time and Part-Time Roles)Pay: $20 - $26 per hour (based on experience) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (full-time or part-time positions available within these hours)About UsWe are a local, small business specializing in electro-optical technology. We are seeking dependable Production Technicians to join our electronics manufacturing and assembly team. In this hands-on role, you will support the assembly, repair, and testing of electronic and electro-optical components and sub-assemblies.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble and repair electronic and electro-optical components and sub-assembliesMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work areaFollow production schedules and complete assigned tasks on timeReport defective materials or issues to supervisorCollect data and compile production and quality reportsTroubleshoot minor equipment or machinery issuesCross-train in multiple assembly tasks to support team needsPerform other duties as needed to meet quality and output goalsSupport small batch production and general production line operationsQualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent required; technical training a plusMechanically inclined with ability to use common hand tools and basic production equipmentAbility to work at a steady pace at a bench stationStrong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skillsAbility to follow written instructions and verbal directions accuratelyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsTeamwork skills and reliability (consistent attendance, punctuality)Willingness to learn new tools, machines, or processes quicklyPreferred Experience (a plus, not required):Basic soldering skills (surface mount & through-hole)Familiarity with electronic test equipment (multimeters, etc.)Ability to read and interpret electronic and mechanical schematicsExperience with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)Hiring ProcessElectrical and Mechanical multiple-choice testHands-on soldering skills test for candidates with previous soldering experienceWhy Work With UsCompetitive paySeparate full-time and part-time positions availableWeekday schedule - no nights or weekendsSupportive, team-oriented environmentFull-Time employees are eligible for health, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus other benefitsOpportunities to grow skills in electronics manufacturing and assembly workNight Vision Devices is an equal opportunity employer.
