THE ROLE We are looking for a full‑time Senior Analyst to be based in Los Angeles or the Bay Area. Senior Analysts sit at the core of our data‑driven approach, conducting rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis and supporting project managers across all phases of work. Key responsibilities include: Developing analytical deliverables (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and first drafts of insights. Assisting project managers in steering teams, preparing for client meetings, and reviewing peers' work. Executing detailed research of housing policies and programs. Synthesizing analysis into actionable recommendations. Conducting due diligence and underwriting for loans and investments. Managing multiple assignments simultaneously. CORE SKILLS Real estate and housing market economics Housing policy and program analysis Residential market analysis Residential development modeling Demographic and economic data analysis Case‑study research Community engagement DESIRABLE SKILLS Preparation of real‑estate pro formas for market‑rate or affordable housing feasibility Detailed research of housing policies and programs Synthesizing analysis into succinct takeaways and actionable recommendations Due diligence and underwriting for loans and investments in housing Portfolio‑level analysis of housing products and investments Proactive coordination with colleagues and guiding alignment on project expectations Data analytics using Python, R, or other programming languages EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 4–6years of professional experience in urban planning or development, housing policy, public administration, real‑estate finance, economic consulting, or a related field. Knowledge of California housing laws, regulations, and policies preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously. Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Urban Planning, Economics, or Public Policy. Master’s degree in Real Estate Development, Business Administration, Urban Planning, or Economics preferred. HYBRID WORK POLICY Employees work from the office at least three days per week, supporting a flexible, collaborative environment that balances professional and personal life. COMPENSATION Base salary range: $105,100–$122,673 (depending on experience). Candidates also receive a discretionary year‑end bonus and participate in the company’s Employee Stock Ownership Plan, which includes contributions to a long‑term wealth‑building account and other retirement benefits.
