Our tenured team ensures a strong commitment to delivering high end comfort and the best senior care available for our residents.TowerLight on Wooddale is looking for a Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide whom would provide personal cares to improve and/or maintain the senior age assisted living/memory care residents' physical and emotional well-being for our beautiful location in St Louis Park, MN. No CNA MN NAR required, unless under 18 years old.Position is provided on the job training to be able to pass medicationsThis caregiver schedule includes:48 hours every two weeks; part timeEvening shift; 2:00pm-10:00pmEvery other weekend and holiday rotationFull benefits package offeredResponsibilitiesPersonal Care Assistance:Supports residents with daily living activities, including: BathingFoot and fingernail careShavingDressingHair careFeedingToiletingAssistance with hearing aids and/or glasses1-2 person transfers and use of mechanical liftsHealth-Related Support: Assists with treatments as outlined in individualized care plans under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (e.g., blood glucose monitoring).Administers or assists with medications, including insulin injections, as directed by a Registered Nurse.Takes and records vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.Daily Living Support: May assist with household tasks including laundry, cleaning, meal service, and resident activities.Resident Observation & Reporting: Monitors and reports changes in residents' physical or emotional condition (e.g., mood, appetite, weight).Communicates observations to appropriate staff and contributes relevant input to care planning.Acts as a mandated reporter, promptly reporting any concerns related to potential mistreatment.Emergency Response: Responds appropriately to resident needs and building emergencies, following established protocols.Required QualificationsLess than 1 yearAbility to use technology in the form of computers, handheld devices, cell phones, and fax machinesIf under 18 must be on the MN NA registry and site must be able to manage restrictions that they are not able to pass medications or operate a mechanical lift independently.Preferred Qualifications1-3 years experienceBenefit OverviewEbenezer offers a generous benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, PTO and Sick and Safe Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement, early access to earned wages, and more!
