Job Description###Locums | OB/GYN | Call Only | Wilson, NC###Why This Role* Beeper call coverage with strong unit and provider support* Opportunity to work with a full spectrum of obstetric and gynecologic cases including circumcisions* Inpatient setting with dedicated support staff###Assignment Details* Start Date: ASAP* End Date: Ongoing* Coverage Type: Call Only* Schedule: Beeper call, response time 15 minutes, call ratio 1:4* Patients per Day: 3-5* Call Details: Admissions 4 per shift, phone consults 5, 25% call-backs* EMR: MediTech###Requirements* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology* Active NC license* ACLS and PALS* Clean history###Clinical Details* Scope: Inpatient obstetrics and gynecology including routine and complicated deliveries, obstetric ultrasounds, minor and major gynecologic surgery* Typical Procedures: * Vaginal deliveries, low forceps (preferred), cesarean sections, breech, multiple births, abruptions * Low and high-risk pregnancy management * FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE) * OB ultrasounds Level I/II * Amniocentesis * Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations * Surgical gynecology: open, laparoscopic minor (tubal ligation, LOA), operative major (preferred) * Laser procedures * Circumcisions###Compensation* Rates: Facility is accepting bids* Malpractice: Provided* Travel: Reimbursed
