The compensation schedule is based on the collective bargaining agreement.Maintenance Planner Overview:The Aircraft Maintenance Planner responsibilities include, but are not limited to, monitoring all time-controlled items to insure compliance; developing work packages and schedule for accomplishment; coordinating with Production to assure scheduled work is compatible with available workforce; coordinating with Maintenance Control/Dispatch to assure aircraft routing is such that maintenance check intervals are utilized efficiently while maintaining maximum schedule flexibility.Essential Roles and Responsibilities:Prepare and maintain calendar maintenance schedulesCoordinate with Operations/Dispatch to assure aircraft routing such that maintenance check intervals are utilized efficiently while maintaining maximum schedule flexibilityMonitor all time-controlled items to ensure compliance within prescribed limitsCoordinate with production supervision to assure scheduled work is compatible with available manpowerDetermine routine maintenance requirements and prepare all required documentsMatch workload for each aircraft to available downtime and station capabilitiesMonitor, coordinate and assign deferred maintenance items and issue for correction.Plan, forecast and schedule troubleshooting and/or terminating action to close out deferred maintenance items.Coordinate with subject matter experts as necessary to define Return to Service Criteria including but not limited to technical engineering, technical representatives, and external vendorsBuild work packages in computer-based tracking systems in accordance with Maintenance Planning policies and procedures.Conduct all tasks in a safe and efficient manner complying with all local, state, and federal safety and health regulatory requirements, programmatic standards, and with any internal policies and procedures identified by Sun Country AirlinesAssist in any other duties and projects as directed by the Maintenance Planning leadershipRequired Qualifications:Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, problem-solving skillsAble to work beyond scheduled shift time to accommodate flight operationsMicrosoft Office, proficient in Excel.Able to work independently and be proactive in the departmentHighly motivated, able to accept new challenges and adapt to a changing work environmentAble contribute new ideas or procedures to the departmentMust be a team playerPreferred Qualifications:One to two years Aircraft Maintenance Planning experienceA&P LicenseBachelor's degree in related fieldPrevious experience with maintenance planning for 737 NGExperienced in using AMM, IPC, SRM, CMM and MPDExperience with using Computer based tracking systemsCompensation: $29.22 USD per hour. This is the base compensation for this role.Classification: Full-time, Non-exemptWorking Location: This position is open in Minneapolis, MN.Schedule: 4 days on 4 days off, 3:00 AM-3:00 PM.Supervisory Responsibility: NoneWork environment: This job primarily operates in a professional office environment.
