Must-Have: No first-time travelers; attention to detail to ensure patient safety and correct processes for instrument reprocessing is essential.
Description: Sterile processing of instruments to support a high-volume surgical department that encompasses various service lines. Expect a high volume of procedures in Neuro, Ortho, Robotic, Cysto, Women's, Pediatrics, and General surgery. Attention to detail is vital to ensure patient safety and adherence to correct processes for instrument reprocessing. The job will require decontamination, preparation, and sterilization per industry standards. Limited IUSS volume must be adhered to in order to meet regulatory requirements. No on-call duties and no floating to other units. This position does not accommodate blocked scheduling. Travelers with a history of only one DUI on record may be eligible for consideration, provided it occurred more than a year ago.
