About the Role:

As a CNA with Homestead of Kingfisher, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assisting residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Providing emotional support and companionship to residents

• Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with other healthcare professionals

• Participating in resident care conferences and contributing to the development of individualized care plans

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met

• Monitor resident vital signs, report changes to RN or LPN, and document as necessary

• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration, as needed

• Participate in activities and programs designed to promote resident engagement and wellness

• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including daily cleaning and disinfection of resident areas

Requirements:

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or experience preferred

• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents, as needed

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
