Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Material Handler Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. This role is essential for efficient materials handling, order fulfillment, and inventory management within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts/loaders and possess a solid understanding of warehouse safety protocols and systems. Duties

• Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials safely within the warehouse
• Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to safety standards such as OSHA regulations
• Assist with shipping & receiving processes, including verifying orders and preparing items for dispatch
• Handle materials with care, including heavy lifting and precise placement to prevent damage or injury
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and inspected
• Support warehouse operations by working with warehouse supervisors on inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock replenishment
• Follow all safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling

Skills

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or materials handling roles
• Ability to operate forklifts, loaders, and pallet jacks proficiently
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices in warehouse environments
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) for order picking and inventory control
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking and load & unload tasks
