Job Title
Registered Nurse – Emergency Room
Location Reidsville, NC | Acute Care
Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every other weekend required | Holidays as needed (expected to work 2 out of 4 holidays)
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during night shift hours
Float to other campus locations within the health system as needed
Accurately document patient information and care using
EPIC EMR
Complete a compliance
EKG exam
prior to or during orientation (2 attempts allowed)
Complete unit-based orientation modules (non-billable, averaging 2–4 hours, completed during orientation)
Adhere to all travel compliance requirements including timely RTO submission at application
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and PALS certifications required
EPIC EMR experience required
Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
No open background cases permitted
Current driver's license required to verify address
Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification preferred
Experience in a STEMI- and/or Stroke-certified facility preferred
