This position assists the insulation lamination machine operator with lamination production, quality control, and safety to ensure products produced meet and/or exceed the standards of the customer's order. This role is vital to the success of our business, as they are ensuring that our customers' orders are correct and undamaged.Essential Job FunctionsProperly unwrap rolls of insulation and load them on the lamination machinePerform quality inspections by examining all products to verify conformance to company standardsMove freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, and delivery vehicles, using hand trucks, forklifts, or clampsProperly unload and bag finished product rolls off the lamination machineAccurately count finished product to determine completion of production orderPerform general house-keeping responsibilities to ensure a clean and safe work environmentRequirementsHigh school diploma or GED is requiredMinimum of 1-year experience in a manufacturing work environmentPrior forklift experience is preferredProven track record of good attendance and being on time according to work schedulePhysical RequirementsThe work is performed in non-climate controlled environment with moderate noise level. This job frequently requires the employee to stand; walk; sit; use hands; climb stairs; climb portable ladders to heights of up to 15 ft.; balance; stoop; kneel; push; pull; reach overhead; read; talk or hear. The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
