Dishwasher – Lunchtime Solutions Location: On-site at Siouxland Christian School Schedule: Monday–Friday 9am-1:30pm The Dishwasher helps keep things running smoothly by making sure all dishes, utensils, and equipment are clean and ready to go. In this role you’ll play a big part in keeping the kitchen neat, organized, and safe, all while working alongside a team to keep meal service on track. What You’ll Do Keep the dish room running efficiently by washing dishes, trays, utensils, and equipment using proper sanitation methods and maintaining clear separation between clean and dirty areas. Support kitchen operations by assisting with general cleaning, organizing storage areas and chemicals, and helping with special events as directed. Maintain food-safety and sanitation standards by following SOPs, completing HACCP logs, and monitoring safety practices throughout the kitchen. Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, school staff, and customers, and report equipment or supply issues promptly. Assist with inventory support by replenishing chemicals using proper PPE and alerting supervisors when supplies run low or become worn. Contribute to team success by helping train new team members and filling in for other kitchen duties across district locations when needed. Ensure proper storage by placing clean dishes and equipment in their designated locations. What You Bring Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent standing, bending, twisting, and other physical tasks including grasping handwasher for long periods of time. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Dependability, integrity, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
