Ford Experienced Automotive Technician

We are looking to add only One more experienced Ford Motor Company technician to our team. Two or more years experience at a Ford/Lincoln dealership is ideal. If you aren't a Ford Master technician yet that is fine, we will train and support you so you can become one. At 5+ years of service work at a Ford dealership and your certifications completed you are eligible to become certified as a Ford Senior Master technician. Our goal is to support your journey to learn, develop skills, and make more money.

Our dealership is the best because we believe it takes time and support to become a great technician. We have 14 technicians that know a successful shop is one that works together. Some of our technicians have been working here for over 20+ years. With the average tenure of 9.7 years we work to keep our techs satisfied. We are growing and with that growth we are looking for a technician that has some Ford experience so they can hit the ground running. Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Ford Dealership Service Technician experience ideal
• Basic Certification from any OEM Manufacturer (Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Toyota, Subaru, etc.) or ASE Certification
• Skills in at least engine work, transmission work, or diesel work
• Ambitious, hardworking presence in a team environment
• Basic computer skills
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
• Ability to collaborate effectively
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
