Sand Blaster

Houston, TX: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Sand Blaster for a confidential client in Houston. This position operates on a day shift, Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Essential Duties Sandblast valves in preparation for customer shipment Strive to meet production schedules without compromising quality or safety standards Read and follow sandblast and paint procedures Protect machine surfaces prior to sandblasting Sandblast to SSPC-SP10 near white metal standards Operate blast cabinet, walk-in blast cabinet, and pot blasters Operate a forklift as needed Perform other work-related functions as directed by the immediate supervisor Requirements/Skills High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 2+ years of sandblasting experience Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Self-directed with strong initiative and organizational skills Able to handle multiple demands with urgency, drive, and energy Works well meeting multiple deadlines and delivering on time Physical Requirements Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Equal Opportunity Statement Flexicrew Technical Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer; employment with FTS is governed on the basis of merit, competence, and qualifications.
