Job Summary

Medix is seeking an EMT / Medical Assistant / LPN for an urgent care clinic position! The clinic assistant will be responsible for rooming patients, taking vitals, charting in EPIC, and assisting with procedures.

• Rooming patients and obtaining vitals.
• Charting and maintaining records in EPIC.
• Assisting medical professionals with procedures.
• Maintaining a fast pace in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• MA diploma (accredited), EMT - B (MN) or LPN.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (online BLS certification is not acceptable).
• Must maintain a current state license of practical nursing, if applicable.
• Experience with EMR systems is preferred.

Experience

• One or more years of experience in a related field of medicine is desirable.

Skills

• Proficiency in using EPIC or similar charting software.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
