By joining our team, you will share in the joy of providing "care with dignity and life with hope" to our developmentally disabled group home residents.Responsibilities:Transport/safeguard residents on outingsCoach residents in skills development & administer medicationsProvide person-centered care including personal care as neededPerform household maintenance tasks, including meal preparationOther duties as assignedQualifications:A HS diploma/GEDValid NYS Driver's LicenseAbility to perform tasks that may require stooping, crouching, and 2-person lifting up to 250 pounds.Ability to maintain personal safety and respond appropriately in a calm, non-confrontational manner during an individual's physical or emotional outburst.Schedule:Part-time, Evening, Weekend and On Call opportunities available. Typical staffing needs include:Evenings – (3p-11p) (part time & including weekends)Weekend dayshifts – (9a-3p)Base Rate of Pay : $21. per hour (Weekend differential pay is an additional $1.00/hr.)This rate of pay serves as a good faith estimate. Actual pay is based on a number of factors which may include a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and work location.
