Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Aug 31, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift contract requiring 3 years of experience and a WA or compact RN license Details Hospital-based Med/Surg unit caring for the adult patient population Night shift schedule from 1845-0715 13-week contract with 36 scheduled hours per week Every other weekend off with the option to pick up extra shifts Floating to other departments required on a rotational basis Meditech EMR experience helpful but not required Requirements Active WA State RN license or Multi-state license accepted with verification of an approved 6-hour suicide training and Nursys demographic verification Minimum 3 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Additional Information Located near Pacific Northwest beaches and the Olympic National Forest Must be a team player willing to float to other departments as needed Requested time off must be approved in advance and will be added to the end of the contract American Traveler Job ID P-742305.
