QA Engineer

Client: Electric car company

Location: Fremont, CA - must be onsite 5 days a week

Duration: 6-12 months

Pay Rate: $60/hr

Interview Type: 2 interviews back to back 45 mins each, both are hand on technical IV

Visa Restrictions: No fake, or H1b – Need LinkedIn

Required Skills: They must be able to code on Python and SQL, (this is NOT an Automation QA role) Lot of coding questions on Python and SQL.

In Python:

• How to eliminate duplicated value and get the original value?
• How to get value in dictionary in API response

In SQL:

• Write a query to Get the order for the last 30 days from order tables and joints tables, distinct values?
• Joint 3 tables and get the total value?

Must-Have Skill Sets:

• Automation Skills: Experience with Python scripting and ability to build and maintain automated test cases
• Automation Tools: Selenium WebDriver, or PyTest, or Cypress, or Playwright
• Manual Testing Expertise: Strong knowledge of black-box, white-box, regression, system, and interface testing
• Backend / Database Validation: Proficiency in SQL
• API Testing: Experience with Postman or similar tools
• Test Management / Bug Tracking: JIRA or Zephyr, or TestLink
• CI/CD Integration: Experience integrating automation into pipelines like Jenkins
• Agile Methodology: Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, participating in sprints and daily stand-ups
• Application Testing: Ability to test web and client-server applications
• Collaboration & Communication: Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills

Nice-to-Have:
