QA Engineer
Client: Electric car company
Location: Fremont, CA - must be onsite 5 days a week
Duration: 6-12 months
Pay Rate: $60/hr
Interview Type: 2 interviews back to back 45 mins each, both are hand on technical IV
Visa Restrictions: No fake, or H1b – Need LinkedIn
Required Skills: They must be able to code on Python and SQL, (this is NOT an Automation QA role) Lot of coding questions on Python and SQL.
In Python:
- How to eliminate duplicated value and get the original value?
- How to get value in dictionary in API response
In SQL:
- Write a query to Get the order for the last 30 days from order tables and joints tables, distinct values?
- Joint 3 tables and get the total value?
Must-Have Skill Sets:
- Automation Skills: Experience with Python scripting and ability to build and maintain automated test cases
- Automation Tools: Selenium WebDriver, or PyTest, or Cypress, or Playwright
- Manual Testing Expertise: Strong knowledge of black-box, white-box, regression, system, and interface testing
- Backend / Database Validation: Proficiency in SQL
- API Testing: Experience with Postman or similar tools
- Test Management / Bug Tracking: JIRA or Zephyr, or TestLink
- CI/CD Integration: Experience integrating automation into pipelines like Jenkins
- Agile Methodology: Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, participating in sprints and daily stand-ups
- Application Testing: Ability to test web and client-server applications
- Collaboration & Communication: Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
